Coffee lovers, get ready! We are excited to announce the Florida Coffee Box. This innovative coffee box showcases five of the state’s finest roasters, offering a curated experience that celebrates the robust community and talent in Florida's coffee community.

Florida- Specialty Coffee's Hidden Gem

Places like Seattle, Portland, New York, and Los Angeles often get recognition as the best coffee spots in the United States. And rightly so, because each of these cities has contributed something unique to the specialty coffee community here in the United States. However, Florida is often overlooked as a destination for coffee.

For example, I was recently talking with someone in the coffee community outside of Florida who shared with me that they didn't think Orlando has good coffee. In their mind, Orlando was just big chains. They were fundamentally wrong.

If you have ever explored Orlando, Orlando proper, you know that there are many fantastic and amazing cafes in the city and its surrounding area. This person didn't know the beauty and commitment to the craft that is the Orlando coffee community.

Taking a step back, the same is true for Florida as a whole. People don't often recognize the talent, passion, and brilliance of Florida's specialty coffee community. While it may not get the recognition of some of the places above, Florida is a hidden gem in the specialty coffee community. This is why we created the Florida Coffee Box- to highlight the extremely gifted and talented coffee professionals in the Sunshine State.

The Florida Coffee Box is one of our ways of helping people discover and appreciate the talent, passion, and creativity of Florida in the specialty coffee community.

What Makes the Florida Coffee Box Special?

At its core, the Florida Coffee Box is a collaboration among local roasters—an opportunity to come together and create something beautiful, sharing it with the world. Here are some highlights that set this box apart:

1. Collaboration & Community: To kick off this project, we gathered together at Lineage's roastery in order to cup coffee, meet each other, and connect. For some, it was their first time meeting each other. So this box is more than just five coffees and a mug; it's a project that brings people together.

   
   

2. Curated Selection: The box features two ounces of coffee beans from each of the five roasters. Each roaster has intentionally selected a coffee that represents their brand, passion, and creativity in coffee.

   
   

3. Limited Edition: There is a limited quantity of boxes available, and once they are sold, they will be gone. We may pursue future boxes, but this will be the only opportunity to get these five coffees together in one box. There is also a limited edition mug contained in each box!

   
   

4. Highlights Florida: This box contains the work of some of Florida's best. Purchasing a box supports local businesses in Florida. It helps them continue to grow and thrive in the specialty coffee community.

Meet the Roasters Behind the Box

As you delve into the Florida Coffee Box, you'll discover a fantastic lineup of roasters showcasing their unique offerings. Here's a brief overview of the roasters you'll find:

• Lineage Coffee: One of the OG's in the Orlando coffee community Lineage has been around for over 10 years and has helped pave the way for the city's growth.

  
  

• Panther Coffee: Panther Coffee is located in Miami and has over five cafes in the Miami area. They have pioneered specialty coffee in our state and even were named one of the world's top 100 coffee shops in 2025.

  
  

• Bold Bean: Bold Bean is a North East Florida legend and is located in Jacksonville. They have inspired many cafes, roasters, and professionals in the northeast of Florida.

  
  

• Resident: They are the youngest roaster in this box. However, they have received recognition as the best roaster in the State of Florida in 2022 by Food and Wine.

  
  

• Elevation: Is a staple in the Tampa coffee scene and has been around since 2019. Through their cafes and roasting program, they have helped elevate the coffee community in the Tampa Bay area.

  
  

Together, these roasters highlight the best that Florida has to offer, showcasing their unique approaches to coffee-making.

• Panther-  Yemen Sana'a Governorate (Natural processed with notes of tootsie roll, blackberry, winey and syrupy

  
  

• Lineage- Kenya Gichathaini (Double washed processed with notes of lemon Syrup and black Currant) 

  
  

• Bold Bean- Colombia Rosado (Double fermentation washed with notes  of Apricot, spiced honey, plum, black tea, lemon zest)

  
  

• Resident- Colombia (Washed Process with notes of honey limeade, cinnamon, grilled pineapple)

  
  

• Elevation- Colombia Edwin Nordña (Watermelon Co-Ferment with notes of hibiscus, candy, and watermelon).
